About Us

Baobab Jungle opened July 2007 and we are slowly building a reputation for providing quality products in a relaxed atmosphere. Each item has a story to tell which we will be happy to share with you. All of our products are fairly traded, either directly ourselves or through BAFTS registered suppliers in the U.K.

We have been travelling to Ghana for 9 years now with the And Albert Foundation to get involved in projects and also buy products. We have seen huge changes in the villages that And Albert works with and seen for ourselves the difference it makes to the lives of people in Ghana.

Our shop is located in the cafe courtyard at Van Hage in Ware, Hertfordshire. One of the most successful and innovative garden centre's in the country.

Van Hage is a great place for a day out for the whole family. Apart from Baobab Jungle there is a huge range of plants and flowers, a restaurant, Animal Gardens and the East Herts miniature railway. www.vanhage.co.uk
